Caitlin Ferris - Outdoor Yoga

As part of our Earth Month series, The Connection Between Fitness, Wellness & Outdoor Spaces, we’re highlighting Life Time team members who find renewal and purpose in the outdoors.

For Caitlin Ferris, a Group Fitness and Yoga Instructor at Life Time Franklin in Tennessee, nature isn’t just a backdrop—it’s a partner in practice.

Each year on International Day of Yoga, Caitlin leads a community event in the heart of Franklin: Yoga in the Park. For three years running, people of all ages and experience have gathered on the grass, no walls or studio boundaries—just breath, movement, and open sky.

Outdoor spaces are more than just places, they’re a chance to create memories, experience new things, and while we’re protecting these places now, we’re protecting them for our future generations—who get to go out into these spaces and be free, be creative, and just come into their own as they’re moving around.
— Caitlin Ferris, Life Time Franklin

In a world that moves fast, Caitlin’s story is a reminder to slow down, breathe deep, and protect the places that reconnect us to what matters most.

Because the future of our well-being—and our planet—is in our hands.
