Hawaiian BBQ Pulled Pork

Pull out your slow cooker and toss in these ingredients for a healthy Hawaiian BBQ Pulled Pork that is mouthwateringly juicy and flavorful.

Ingredients

4 lb boneless pork shoulder, excess fat removed

2 small yellow onions, diced

3 cloves minced garlic

12-oz can tomato puree

4 Tbsp coconut aminos or soy sauce

1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

1/2 cup honey

2 tsp cumin

2 Tbsp chili powder

1 tsp oregano

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

1 1/2 cup pineapple, diced

Directions

  1. Add pork, onion and pineapple to slow cooker set to high

  2. Whisk together remaining ingredients to form a sauce

  3. Spread evenly over pork and cook on high for 6 hours

  4. Shred pork with two large forks, removing any excess fat
