Watermelon Sorbet

Looking for a refreshing treat to cool off this summer? Try this simple Watermelon Sorbet, made with only four ingredients. This recipe doubles as a fun activity to try with your kids too!

Ingredients

1/2 large seedless watermelon

1 can full fat coconut milk

1/2 cup honey

Juice of 1/2 lime

For Freezing:

6 cups ice

1/3 cup salt

2 gallon-sized plastic bags

2 quart-sized plastic bags

Directions

  1. Blend together watermelon, coconut milk, honey and lime juice until smooth

  2. Divide ice and salt and add into both gallon bags

  3. Pour watermelon mixture into the quart-sized bags and seal

  4. Place sealed quart-sized bags into gallon bags with ice and shake for 6 to 7 minutes, or until sorbet is frozen

  5. Store in freezer

Notes

We recommend wearing oven-mitts when shaking the ice bags to avoid cold hands
